Find the Maths your learner is doing right now.
Our classes are grouped by grade and follow the CAPS curriculum, so every lesson lines up with what is being taught at school this term.
Grade 8: Build the foundation before high school Maths gets hard.
Grade 8 is where arithmetic becomes algebra. Learners who close their gaps now avoid the compounding problems that show up in Grade 10.
Topics covered
- Whole numbers, integers & exponents
- Numeric and geometric patterns
- Algebraic expressions & equations
- Functions and relationships
- Geometry of straight lines and 2D shapes
- Theorem of Pythagoras
- Perimeter, area, surface area & volume
- Data handling and probability
Study Support
2 group lessons per week
Two lessons a week plus worksheets is usually enough to keep a Grade 8 learner ahead of the syllabus.
Grade 9: The year that decides Maths or Maths Literacy.
Grade 9 results determine subject choice for FET. We focus on the algebra and geometry fluency learners need to take Mathematics into Grade 10 with confidence.
Topics covered
- Factorisation and algebraic fractions
- Linear equations and inequalities
- Graphs of linear functions
- Congruency and similarity
- Theorem of Pythagoras applications
- Circles, area and volume
- Financial mathematics
- Data handling and probability
Exam Booster
3 group lessons per week
Weekly homework with full memos gives you the evidence you need before committing to Mathematics in Grade 10.
Grade 10: Your first year of FET Mathematics.
The jump from Grade 9 to Grade 10 is the steepest in the curriculum. We slow down on the fundamentals — algebra, functions and trig ratios — so the next two years are manageable.
Topics covered
- Algebraic expressions, products & factorisation
- Exponents, surds and number patterns
- Equations and inequalities
- Functions: linear, quadratic, hyperbola, exponential
- Trigonometry: ratios and solving triangles
- Euclidean and analytical geometry
- Finance and growth
- Statistics, probability and measurement
Exam Booster
3 group lessons per week
Three lessons a week plus a monthly past-paper workshop covers the volume of new content in Grade 10.
Grade 11: The content that carries the most marks in Matric.
Grade 11 work — circle geometry, trig identities, nature of roots — reappears throughout the Grade 12 papers. Getting it right this year is the cheapest way to raise a Matric mark.
Topics covered
- Exponents, surds and quadratic equations
- Nature of roots and simultaneous equations
- Quadratic number patterns
- Functions and transformations
- Trigonometric identities, sine, cosine & area rules
- Euclidean geometry: circle geometry
- Analytical geometry
- Finance: growth and decay
- Probability: Venn and tree diagrams
Maths Mastery
3 lessons + weekly tutorial
Office hours and a termly personalised plan let us target circle geometry and trig identities individually.
Grade 12: Prepare for Matric with a plan, not panic.
Structured revision of Paper 1 and Paper 2, weekly past-paper drilling and exam technique — from the start of the year through to the finals.
Topics covered
- Sequences and series
- Functions, inverses and logarithms
- Finance: annuities and loan repayments
- Differential calculus, cubic graphs & optimisation
- Counting principle and probability
- Analytical geometry
- Compound angles, double angles & 3D trigonometry
- Euclidean geometry: proportionality and similarity
- Statistics: regression and correlation
Maths Mastery
3 lessons + weekly tutorial
Matric learners need the extra tutorial time, priority support and exam bootcamps in the top tier.
Tell us the grade — we will place your learner correctly.
Send us the grade and the topics they are struggling with, and we will recommend the right class and plan.
